--RHP Aaron Crow worked two perfect innings, striking out two, Thursday in the Royals' 6-5, 12-inning loss at Baltimore. He has not allowed a run in 20 of his 21 performances, and his ERA is down to 0.70.
--RHP Greg Holland worked two scoreless innings and allowed one hit. Holland has not allowed a run since being recalled May 19 from Class AAA Omaha.
--1B Eric Hosmer went 0-for-6 Thursday to drop his average to .267. Hosmer, who has been shifted to the No. 3 spot in the batting order, went 2-for-12 in the three games at Baltimore without a RBI.
--LHP Everett Teaford pulled a Houdini in the 11th inning Thursday. After RHP Blake Wood loaded the bases with no outs, Teaford got two groundballs, including one for an inning-ending double play, to keep the game tied at 5.
--OF Derrick Robinson is 2-for-17 with eight strikeouts in four games with Class AA Northwest Arkansas since returning from the disabled list. Robinson, who went 0-for-4 and struck out twice Thursday in a 3-0 loss at Frisco, has seen his average deteriorate to .227 with the slide. Robinson was added to the 40-man roster during the offseason.
