So our beloved Dodgers fell short of the prize again. A heartbreak for sure, as many of us have yearned so badly to see our Blue back in the World Series, but honestly I think we once again exceeded expectations and there is a ton of positives to take away from this year. Manny picked up the $20 million dollar option for 2010. Thank you Manny for deciding quickly so the Dodgers brass can move on to other pressing needs. We have all been complaining at Colletti for not making the best offer for Lee and how the Phils got him for so cheap and look at how hes pitched for them. But once again it seems like our attention is focused on the wrong person, and we need to focus our pitchforks and torches at another culprit.

After last night I can barely bring myself to write this. I've been doing my best all day to just not think about baseball. Not just the Dodgers, but baseball in general. I might skip watching tonight's game. I haven't made it final, but I think I might just skip it. I'm getting older and the stress these games are causing is just foolish

Any dodger fans attending this game? I am!! I know that we blew it big time last night and that pretty much shattered our hopes and dreams of reliving that moment from 88' but if we pull a win out tomorrow night we will be flying back home to LA where anyhting is possible. Was Sherrill pitching that bad in the 8th that he had to bring in Broxton?? I understand wanting to give it to your closer, but let your set up man do his job!! It's really quite simple.... We have to find a way to beat the Phillies today. Cliff Lee is a great pitcher, but contrary to popular belief...he's a human being who isn't invincible. This team has the ability to hit any pitcher... Lee is no different.

Joe Torre is completeley to blame for the way the Dodgers have lost and the fact that the Pitching Staff is having so many problems. Broxton is a one inning pitcher and time and time again, Torre send him out to get the final out for Sherrill and it takes away the adrenaline rush of coming in the final inning and closing the game. The worst part about the game (NLCS) was the TBS sports announcers. It seemed like Chip Caray was rooting for one team and it was not LA Dodgers when they would do something good he sounded like he was in heaven. Are you kidding me? Joe doesnt give our ACE Chad Billingsley one game in the playoffs. Granted Bills did struggle down the stretch but at worst what was he doing ,giving 5 strong then he would start to get lit upa little bit. you would think it to be a better option then Kuroda that was coming off the DL.
