I just read an article on this site by Eric Young I think. He stated some good points about having a stockpile of major league ready pitchers the Twins have that they could use in a trade with Toronto. I think he figured on about 8 or 9 guys with major league experience including Pavano (if we get him back), Baker, Slowey, Blackburn, Lirian

Has anyone heard anything about Figgins? He is one of the best free agent this year but I haven't heard anything about him. I would love it if the Twins would try and get this guy. He can play 2nd, SS, 3rd, and OF. He is also a great hitter. Why not try and get this guy to a deal and our infield would be set.

It's official, our hometown kid's legend continues. Joe Mauer nets a batting title, gold glove and now A.L. MVP all in 2009...imagine if he didn't miss a whole month. Congratulations Joe. Twins, sign this guy now, please.

I truely think the deal has already been worked out. I also believe that they will wait to announce it just before spring training or at Christmas. Christmas would be a great present for Twins fans, but, the excitement it will bring just before the season may be worth the wait. I don't think we have too much to worry abou

There were rumors abound the Twins had interest in acquiring 3B Garrett Atkins from the Rockies at the trade deadline, but the Rockies wanted too much. On Dec 12, it is expected that Atkins will become a free agent.

There's a lot of talk about all of the free agents the Twins "may" go after. A lot of these guys seem far fetched, but some actually seem within reason. Given what we have, and what we need, what would your Minnesota Twins lineup look like in 2010 (within reason)?
