For the 11th consecutive season the Yankee had the highest average team salary. No surprise I know, but where the Mets fell is!

The Mets are close to signing free agent catcher Henry Blanco, reports Adam Rubin of the New York Daily News.

The Royals want to acquire an inexpensive outfielder in return for Jose Guillen. They'd be willing to eat money in a swap, Guillen is owed $12 million in 2010, the final season of his deal. ~ Adam Rubin

Yeah we have talked about Matt Holliday for Left and Roy Halliday for our SP and plenty of others[Lacky, Molina, Barjas, Hudson, Pineiro, Marquis, Delgado, Bedard, Derosa,ect. Phillies signed C Brian Schneider to a two-year contract.
