In my heart i feel that Pettitte will come back. Damon i know says he wants to come back, but it seems like everytime he is quoted, he talks about signing for 3-4 years (not happening). I would like to see both Pettitte and Damon back on 1 year deals, with a possiblity of Matsui joining them. IF Damon listens to is arogant "super" agent Scott Boras, and leaves to go someone else, t

Cashman and the rest of brass are suposed to be going over budget and personnel strategy soon, this week I believe i read, and first priority is dealing with own free agents. Once that is done we will have a much clearer idea of what to expect rest of off season. Some very tough choices with fan favorites, Matsui, Damon, Andy and then some versatile bit players and/or old friends that probably are

I'm starting to believe that the best option is to sign Mike Cameron and Hideki to 1 year deals and let Damon go. We would need to put somebody in the 2 whole and i have no idea who that can be. I would love to say Cano but i do not think he can handle batting so far up in the lineup especially since he has no discipline. He would get pitches to hit if he bats in front of

I seriously doubt Halladay becomes a Yankee this year. I don't believe Cashman breaks from youth movement any time soon..WoH..

Well, I'm stuck pulling a late nighter trying to get some work done, but I couldn't help perusing through youtube and came across this gem: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X-ZRwwODYmA It's of interviews following the 1977 Yankees world championship. Nope, I wasn't alive for t

OK, The hot stove is on low for the moment...but should heat up shortly. I know there are a lot of people on this board that are back and forth on pitchers we should add for next season. Lets just say that Andy Pettitte resigns, we still need a capable arm(s) to add to the rotation. We know that pitching wins championships, so we need a couple of good arms to defend our title. There are some diffe

I know many people have pointed out the Yankees' weaknesses in the outfield and the back end of the rotation, but what must be emphasized is none of these changes are dire enough to justify handing out massive contracts, and certainly, none of them are dire enough to justify significantly altering team chemistry.
