Cashman and the rest of brass are suposed to be going over budget and personnel strategy soon, this week I believe i read, and first priority is dealing with own free agents. Once that is done we will have a much clearer idea of what to expect rest of off season. Some very tough choices with fan favorites, Matsui, Damon, Andy and then some versatile bit players and/or old friends that probably are

Dear Yankee Fans: With all of the trade rumors involving pitchers swirling, I'm surprised K.C. has not been thrown into the mix. Am I missing something? The best 3 pitchers potentially available for various reasons, via trade, are Halladay, Hernandez and Greike. Greike's name has never surfaced as trade bait. K.C. w

OK, The hot stove is on low for the moment...but should heat up shortly. I know there are a lot of people on this board that are back and forth on pitchers we should add for next season. Lets just say that Andy Pettitte resigns, we still need a capable arm(s) to add to the rotation. We know that pitching wins championships, so we need a couple of good arms to defend our title. There are some diffe

According to Josh Johnsons agents, The Marlins have indicated that they will not give Josh Johnson an extension, not now and probably never which opens up the possibility that 2010 could be his last with the

First off I am ok with trading either Joba or Hughes if that trade nets a Josh Johnson, or a Felix Hernandez, or even Halladay, if Cashman can pull it off and not "throw in" AJax or Montero, then so be it. Otherwise leave em alone and let them develop. So I am a

Why do so many Yankee fans want to bring in all these new players from outside the Team? The Yankees won it all and a big reason why was Team chemistry each new player added now could be the one that ruins the Teams new found Chemistry. I think that we can win it all again in 2010 with no outside additions. First Re

Last offseason, I said to give Joba one more year to prove himself as a starter. He didn't do it. Hughes proved himself in the pen during the regular season though not the playoffs. I still think they both have enough talent to contribute to the team since they're still young enough to improve, but I think 2010 should be their last shot to prove themselves. I say Joba back

This team just refuses to give up and truly believes that they can always come back to win the game. It has been a long time that I've seen any Yankees team like this with a never say die attitude. Even again with C.C. not at his best tonight he battled and kept the Yankees in the game. Marte has been lights out against lefty batters, Joba

Ok guys, everyone needs to take a step back. Seriously, this is a Yankee team that just Dominated the baseball world and won #27. But , however ,...They are getting to be quite old and some have suggested trading Joba, Hughes, AJax and Montero, + 2,3,4, or more highly regarded minor leaguers for 1 Pitcher? or even 1P and another player?. Seriously I would love to have Felix or Johnson or even

Everyone's quick to talk about Matt Holliday, but what about Jason Bay? The guy would be a better fit for NY, and he's available. The Yankee OF has needed an upgrade for several years now. I like Johnny Damon and Hideki Matsui, but they're both DH's now. Get Jason Bay for LF! I'm not sold on Melky/Gardner in center and Swisher in RF, but at least you improve the defen
