Kevin Towers has built the '96 division winner, '98 pennant team and the back to back division winners in 2005 and 2006. He did all this on a very restricted bydget. I dont understand how you fire the best budget gm in baseball. No one knows this franchise better then KT. Look what he was able to do this year and get the pieces we needed. Why does evryone blame all of the Padres struggles on KT? Explain to me how it is his fault that Moores had a divorce and in the years before that, was way too cheap? KT has had to make some poor deals and trade away players such as Jake Peavy,
