--LHP Cory Luebke worked 2 2/3 scoreless innings Tuesday night in relief of LHP Clayton Richard. He has now pitched 13 1/3 innings without allowing a run since he gave up six runs in the 11th inning to Cincinnati back on April 12. During the streak, he has allowed nine hits and three walks while striking out 13.
--LHP Clayton Richard gave up eight runs (seven earned) on 10 hits in 3 1/3 innings Tuesday night in Milwaukee. Richard lost a fourth straight start. Over his last five starts, Richard has worked only 26 2/3 innings, giving up 25 runs (18 earned) on 35 hits and 12 walks for a 6.07 ERA. His 4.79 ERA is now the second highest in the Padres rotation to RHP Mat Latos' 4.86 mark.
--LF Ryan Ludwick was 0-for-5 Tuesday and is now hitless in his last 17 at-bats. After getting his average up to .215, Ludwick has back-slid to .181.
--INF Alberto Gonzalez snapped out of a 0-for-20 drought by going 2-for-4 Tuesday. It equaled his season high for hits.
--C Kyle Phillips had two hits and two RBI on Tuesday night, equaling his career high in both categories. Phillips made his second start since he was promoted from Class AA San Antonio to take injured Nick Hundley's spot on the roster.
