MEDICAL WATCH:

--1B Casey Kotchman (sore right ankle) left the May 29 game, and he didn't play May 30. He is day-to-day.

--INF Elliot Johnson (sprained left knee) went on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to May 24.

--RHP Jeff Niemann (back tightness) went on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to May 5. He was throwing bullpen sessions in late May, and he threw a simulated game May 30. He is expected to start a rehab assignment in early June, and he could be activated in mid-June.
