Is anyone else worried that Rangers are now bankrolled by MLB? They had to bail out Tom Hicks because of his financial problems.

The AL Golden Gloves awards came out today, and to a little surprise, none of the Rangers won one.

As we are just starting to free agency and the Gm meetings here is my wish list for the Rangers this year.Our main concerns are as i see it a right handed bat another starting pitcher and a good left handed arm for the bull pen.I know the Florida Marlins are dangling

It makes perfect sense. Take the money they saved from dealing Padilla and put it towards giving John Lackey a solid contract offer. Lackey can be the ace at the top of the rotation while Feliz and Holland develop. Meanwhile, I'm pretty sure Lackey is also from Texas so he might be more inclined to sign there. The signing would h

Eric Hurdle, the former manager of the 2007 NL Champs Colorado Rockies, has been named the Rangers new hitting coach. John Blake announced this yesterday.
I like the move a lot, and I think you will see a fresh new approach to the Rangers offense for 2010.

My momma taught me that if you can't say anything nice don't say anything. I'm not sure she understood how hard that is as a Rangers fan. Now that this last month is mercifully over I took a peak at some stats - some are encouraging and a few are points that must be addressed.
