With Ray goin out there and tossing a three hitter through 8 today, it showed me just how good our arms are. It's early obviously, but we have more able hurlers than roster spots. With that said, who would you have on the team once everyone gets healthy? To me, all of the following are at the very least servicable Roy Hal

Hey Jays fans,
Below is a post I made to the Phillies board. I want to get Phillies fans to vote for Lind to the All-Star game when they register their vote for Victorino. So when you vote Lind, also vote Victorino!

if we trade Halladay and enter a rebuild or at least semi-rebuild mode anyone think we should trade Rolen? I think the Red Sox could give up alot for his services.... Rolen's value is high now batting .330.... and if we hold on him till next year the injury prone 3B may be hurt and at 34 he probably doesn't have much baseball left in him.

Roy Halladay wants to remain a Blue Jay but the Jays might trade him if there's an amazing offer out there. However, Halladay would prefer remaining a Jay and I, too, would like to see him remain a Jay and hopefully retire as a Jay. But how much would it cost to keep him? Does anyone have any idea how much

If the Jays were not in the talk of the league for willingness to trade the face of their franchise but for something like capitalizing on the momentum they had earlier in the season and increasing payroll to get another stud pitcher or a good bat or both. Instead of hording all these young arms who probably won't be that great, send some away to be back end guys for another team.
I am

I hate to see him go but I do not think we can resign him after 2010. I think Halladay would be a good fit for the Rangers. A team always needing pitching and I could see Roy waiving his no trade to go to a team with alot of runs support.... good way to get 300 wins I think. Trading Halladay now would be wise for the Jays if they

I never followed this team before fantasy, but was fortunate enough to pick up Halladay in the draft. I later added Romero and Tallet. I have been so high on this team, but Cito is driving me through a wall. He regularly changes days or eliminates starts with little or no notice. And now he names an untried closer when Downs goes out and the guy doesn't seem able to do the job. Why

Yes I realize almost the whole starting rotation is on the DL, but still the pitching changes and the poor timing has put the Blue Jays from 1st place almost into the cellar in the AL East. I said it before and its proving true now that when the jays are over taken by the Red So

That is 4 games in a row that they have faced mediocre pitchers coming off lousy performances and tossing gems against the Jays. They were doing such a great job of situational hitting prior to this road trip. In such a tight game tonite, why didn't Cito have Overbay sacrifice Rolen to 3rd, especially that late in the game? Rolen at 3rd with 1 out seems like a sure bet with Barajas coming up.

Is there any other contract out there that is backloaded worse than Vernon Wells'? Toronto is going to be paying him: 2011:$23M, 2012: $21M, 2013: $21M, 2014: $21M How is Toronto ever going to win anything if they make contracts like this? How the hell did Wells get a

He has clearly never been the same since the TJ surgery and he has lost his closing ability but cutting him and still being on the hook for $10M makes no sense to me when he could still be used in a mop up role, especially considering all the pitching injuries we have had.
Am I the only one who feels like JP makes his decisions by throwing darts at an idea board?

Lyle Overbay, I hate him. Probably one of the streakest hitters in the game today, except his slumps are twice as long. Could easily go 0-for 25 then 10-for 15. Except on average he is hitting under .250 and he plays first base. First base is supposed to be a hitters position. We need to get rid of him and his 9 Million dollar co
