Reds in agreement on deal to bring back Parra

Left-handed reliever Manny Parra is in agreement on a new two-year deal with the Reds, sources say.

Parra will receive $5.5 million over two years.

Parra resurrected his career in Cincinnati as a reliable reliever. New manager Bryan Price receives some of the credit for that.

Parra was 2-3 with a 3.33 ERA in Cincinnati last year after an up-and-down stay in Milwaukee, where he started and relieved.
