UFC 208 in California scrapped, moved back to August
Without a championship fight available, UFC 208 in Anaheim has been canceled
UFC 208, scheduled for Jan. 21, has been canceled. The card appeared to have no title fights available for the January slot. The new UFC 208 card will be in February when the organization makes its return to New York at The Barclays Center on Feb. 11.
The event scheduled for June will be rescheduled for sometime in August.
It's a good decision by UFC after loading up the back end of the 2016 fight schedule with four title fights in the last two months. UFC 205 provided fight fans tons of action with three title bouts, including Conor McGregor's triumphant finish of Eddie Alvarez to claim two different weight division titles.
