Dale Earnhardt Jr. to carry 'Dark Knight Rises' paint scheme chosen by fans
I'm a big fan of paint schemes, so I couldn't pass up the chance to mention a pretty cool promotion Mountain Dew is running with Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s 88 car and the upcoming "Dark Knight Rises", which is expected to smash box office records when it's released in theaters July 20.
In a nutshell, fans are being given the chance to pick the "Dark Knight Rises" paint scheme that Earnhardt's 88 car will carry during the June 17 race at Michigan International Speedway.
Interestingly, that was the site of Earnhardt's last win, way back in 2008.

Voting began May 12 and will be done in a two-round bracket format. Voting for the first round ends May 18. It pits the Batman scheme vs. the Bane scheme, while the Batshield squares off vs. the Dale Jr. design.
In the second round, fans will then be able to pick from the two first-round winners, though I couldn't find anything on when that voting begins or ends.
For the record, my pick would be the Batman scheme.
