Titus Young graces cover of Lions' 2013 calendar

By Larry Hartstein | Senior Analyst
The Lions' 2013 calendar features only five players who are expected to play for the team this year.

Matthew Stafford? Too obvious. Calvin Johnson? Too boring.

We can only guess at the thinking behind the Detroit Lions 2013 Team Wall Calendar, which features Titus Young on the cover.

Let's hope this decision was made before he declared he was better than Megatron; lined up wrong on purpose and missed six games due to suspension. But wasn't it back in May when he supposedly sucker-punched teammate Louis Delmas?

FoxSportsDetroit.com notes only five of 12 players in the calendar are locks to play for the Lions this year.

Young (December), corner Aaron Berry (January) and defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch (November) were released.

The calendars have plunged from $15.99 to $2.99 on Amazon. They're being distributed by a company called Perfect Timing. And we're not making that up.
