2009 Truck Series schedule
CBSSports.com staff and wire reports
Updated Dec. 18
In 2009, the Truck Series championship will once again be contested over 25 races, but there are a couple of changes from the 2008 schedule.
A night event at Chicagoland Speedway on Friday, Aug. 28 has replaced a second trip to Atlanta.
In December, Mansfield Motorsports Park, which was to host a race on May 23, dropped off the schedule because it was unable to meet the requirements necessary to remain a NASCAR-sanctioned facility. Iowa Speedway was named as a replacement and will host a race on Sept. 5.
