Video: Amar'e Stoudemire hand injury gets Taiwanese animation

By Ben Golliver | Blogger

As soon as the words "Amar'e Stoudemire punches a fire extinguisher and blood is gushing everywhere" entered America's national discourse on Monday night, you knew that NMA.TV would be all over it.

The Taiwanese animation group has previously brought to life -- in endlessly hilarious detail -- the Blake Griffin poster dunk over Kendrick Perkins and the rise of Jeremy Lin, among other major NBA events.

Well, they're back with an incredible takedown of Stoudemire's ridiculous decision to punch the extinguisher after the New York Knicks fell to the Miami Heat during Game 2 on Monday night, an act that ended with his hand lacerated so badly that it required minor surgery. The video depicts the injury in all its gory glory, mocks the Knicks for getting run by the Heat and even suggests that Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony got former coach Mike D'Antoni fired.

No more spoilers. Just watch the video above.

Stoudemire is out for Thursday night's Game 3 against the Heat at Madison Square Garden.
