Lil Wayne denied by the Thunder for Game 3

OKLAHOMA CITY -- It's no secret how tough a Thunder ticket is these days. So tough even Lil Wayne can't find one.

Because evidently he needs one if he's going to come to a game in Oklahoma City.

The rapper tweeted Thursday:

The Thunder disagreed with Lil Wayne's tweet initially saying they weren't aware of the request and then a formal statement was put out by spokesman Dan Mahoney. According to the team, representatives for Lil Wayne called seeking "front row tickets only" for Thursday's Game 3.

The team responded by saying, "We are completely sold out, had nothing available at all. We would love to have him at our game, but he needs a ticket."

In a text message to ESPN.com, Lil Wayne said, "They denied me the tix. Didnt want me in their arena. They also said if I do come, I can only sit behind the bench, not on the floor & that I wouldn't be able to get any special escort nor entrance. They said its the 'Oklahoma way'."

Yep, it's true. Oklahoma's not all that into entitled celebrities. Unless your name is Kevin Durant or Russell Westbrook.
