Austin Rivers day-to-day with sprained ankle

It might've looked really bad, but in the end it was just a scare for Austin Rivers and the Hornets.

The rookie guard took a nasty fall Monday against the Mavericks but just sustained a right ankle sprain and is listed as day-to-day. Rivers had an X-ray and an MRI, with both showing no structural damage.

The injury looked pretty rough, so it wouldn't be surprising if Rivers still misses a few weeks.
