Raptors G Kyle Lowry out only 1-2 weeks (foot)

By Royce Young | NBA writer

The Raptors have been hit hard by injuries early this season, but they got a bit of good news with Kyle Lowry on Thursday.

The starting point guard will only miss 1-2 weeks with a bruised cuboid bone in his foot, the team announced. There were concerns that Lowry would miss more time than that.

Lowry suffered the injury on Nov. 6 against the Thunder after apparently rolling his ankle.

Without Lowry, the Raptors are in pretty capable hands with Jose Calderon, who recorded a triple-double Tuesday against the Pacers.
