Video: Knicks' Tyson Chandler might be more man than you
During the first half of the Knicks-Spurs game, Tim Duncan isolated against Tyson Chandler. He drove toward the hoop, raised up for the shot, and made significant contact with Chandler. Duncan wanted the foul and Chandler wanted a minute to collect himself.
Let's just say Chandler got hit in a place that makes you want to take the full timeout instead of the 20-second timeout. But that didn't stop him! He took a few extra seconds on the inbound, took a couple of extra seconds as Raymond Felton walked the dog up the court with the ball, and then rolled to the basket on a pick-and-roll for the alley-oop slam.
The Spurs announcing team was more than impressed with the efforts, as they should be.
Good on you, Tyson. Take an icepack after the game.
