Paul Pierce has shown his age a bit more the past two seasons. He has a harder time exploding to the rim, a harder time finishing, his initial burst is much slower, his elevation a lot lower.
But don't tell that to Jonas Valanciunas, who was on the business end of a posterization from Pierce on Saturday. GET OUT THE WAY, ROOK!
This is the second poster Valanciunas has found himself on after Kevin Durant baptized him into yammhood earlier this month. It's a bi-product of the youngster contesting at the rim, and in truth, it's a good sign. You want your franchise center contesting at the rim.
