Stephen Jackson out 4-6 weeks with fractured pinky

He broke his pinky.

The Spurs have played small-ball in heavy doses, and you can expect a three-guard lineup with Danny Green and Manu Ginobili alongside Tony Parker or Gary Neal to get heavy minutes. The system will probably allow them to survive, but it's going to be a major hit to their defense. Jackson and Leonard are pivotal to their perimeter defense, with the Spurs lacking an interior presence outside of Tim Duncan.

It's a tough situation for San Antonio, and after a torrid start, it could create some rough times for a team that doesn't look as deep as it did in preseason.
