The Miami Heat expect Dwyane Wade to return from his nagging foot and ankle injuries Wednesday night against the Milwaukee Bucks. Wade has been out for a week due to a series of injuries, which were not related to anything specific, according to coach Erik Spoelstra. The central injury described has been a foot sprain.
It's interesting that Wade's already coming back, given how much pain he's said to have been in. You would think getting him 100 percent would be the Heat's goal, as they talked about that repeatedly in the preseason. Miami has played well enough without him, and to be honest, its defense, while still poor, has looked better with Wade off the floor.
Wade's got a tough assignment as he will be matched up against speedy scorer Monta Ellis. We'll let you know if he does indeed play Wednesday.
