Each night, Eye on Basketball brings you what you need to know about the games of the NBA. From great performances to terrible clock management the report card evaluates and eviscerates the good, the bad, and the ugly from the night that was.

Free basketballIndiana-New Orleans, Miami-Milwaukee, Clippers-OKC, and Atlanta-Washington all went to overtime Wednesday night. A little Thanksgiving appetizer of free basketball, even if the favored teams took all the games. Charlotte-Toronto, Denver-Minnesota, and New York-Dallas were all close late as well. Just a thrilling night all around, with a lot of craziness.
Oklahoma City's defensive schemingIt's a testament to the Clippers' depth that they pushed overtime by scoring 33 points in the final frame, because OKC did a fantastic job defensively, holding Chris Paul and Jamal Crawford to 9-34 shooting. They attacked the Clippers' strength, and that's what helped them control the game. The Clippers rush from Matt Barnes was valiant but not enough. Big win for OKC.
Andre Iguodala's dunkYou know what goes great for Thanksgiving? Iguodala yams.
ClevelandThey're 1-0 without Kyrie Irving after blasting the Sixers. But they needed 28 points, 5 reobounds, and 4 assists from Jeremy Pargo. But a win's a win. Terrible loss for Philly.
Boston Celtics. The Celtics were outclassed by the Spurs, and that really shows the gap between the two teams right now. Even as the Celtics made a late rush, the Spurs just responded with brutal efficiency.
Detroit Pistons second halfFor the first 19 minutes of the second half, they scored 10 points total against the Magic, not exactly a dominant team. The Pistons, as you might expect, are very, very, very bad.
