Gerald Wallace fined $5,000 for second flop

By Royce Young | NBA writer

The Brooklyn Nets are the Brooklyn floppers. Evidently.

Two players in the league this season have been fined for flopping, and both are members of the Nets. Gerald Wallace joins teammate Reggie Evans as the only players to receive a second citation for flopping, which results in a $5,000 fine.

The flop came in a Dec. 1 game against the Heat when Wallace oversold a charge call against LeBron James. Wallace absorbed minimal contact but threw his arms and head back to try to get the call. Which he did.

Wallace's warning came last week against the Knicks.

The next flop will cost Wallace $10,000.
