Serge Ibaka reacts to Stephen Jackson's threatening tweet

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Serge Ibaka's reaction to Stephen Jackson's promise to go after him the next time the Thunder and Spurs meet?

He didn't have one.

"I don't want to talk about it right now," Ibaka said. "I didn't see nothing, I didn't hear nothing.

"I'm just focused on my future."

After Ibaka and Metta World Peace tangled in Friday's game between the Thunder and Lakers, Jackson tweeted, "Somebody tell serg Abaka. He aint bout dis life. Next time he run up on me im goin in his mouth. That's a promise. He doin 2 much."

The tweet has since been deleted, and Jackson issued an apology Sunday.

“I apologize to @SergeIbaka, the NBA, and to all my fans for the comments I made,” Jackson wrote. “It was unprofessional and childish. I'm not a thug just a man who speaks his mind. It was not appropriate. I do apologize. Only a man can admit when he's wrong.”

Of course Jackson and World Peace have a connected history, playing together in Indiana and holding a major role in the Malice at the Palace brawl.

When pressed lightly on the subject, Ibaka literally held both hands up and said, "I don't want to think about it."

Kendrick Perkins, who is good friends with Jackson, said he had not seen the tweet and didn't really give much of a reaction. He did say he'd get in touch with Jackson about it.

"I'll holler at him," Perkins said. "Yeah, I'll holler at him."

The Thunder and Spurs next play Dec. 17 in Oklahoma City.
