I'm joined today by Ethan Sherwood Strauss of Bleacher Report and Warriors World. The Ricky Rubio of Mosswood Park in Oakland stops in for a variety of tangential topics. We cover everything from our own pickup experiences to correct measurements of height as we attempt to ruminate about the current state of basketball.
Ethan and I discuss the center position in the NBA and why, with all of the injuries to the top centers, the argument for best center at this current time might be between Tyson Chandler of the New York Knicks and Marc Gasol of the Memphis Grizzlies. Has the depleted stock (due to league evolution and current injuries) left the door wide-open for most of the second-tier centers?
We also go into the Golden State Warriors and where they stand. After a hot and inspiring start to the season, they've lost frustrating games to the Los Angeles Clippers and Grizzlies since their big win over the Clippers three games ago. Are the Grizzlies too tough of a matchup for them? Is the Grizzlies' offense too ugly to watch? Is Stephen Curry on pace to be the greatest 3-point shooter ever? Should he shoot more 3-pointers?
