VIDEO: Matt Barnes ejected for Flagrant 2 foul on Greg Stiemsma

Matt Barnes has always had a bit of a reputation. And all he did was add to it Wednesday night.

With 8:25 left in the second quarter, Barnes was fighting through a screen by Minnesota big man Greg Stiemsma and after an intial bump, Barnes took exception to something and decided to go for Stiemsma's throat.

After review, it was determined to be a Flagrant 2, for which Barnes was ejected.

There will be another review -- this one by the league office -- to determine if further punishment for Barnes is needed, whether it be a fine or suspension.

Barnes, 32, has emerged as a strong bench weapon for the Clippers this season, averaging 11.1 points, 5.1 rebounds.
