Heat F/C Chris Bosh is sick and will not play Wednesday vs. the Rockets due to illness, via the South Florida Sentinel. Shane Battier is set to start in his stead alongside LeBron James and Udonis Haslem in the frontcourt. Bosh's absence won't be missed as badly against the Rockets, who typically play small-ball in their ultra-fast system with Patrick Patterson and Marcus Morris.

This also means more minutes for Chris "Birdman" Andersen, which is a win for humanity, really.

Bosh reportedly has the flu, which has been plaguing the country. Bosh is averaging 17.5 points and 7.1 rebounds this season for Miami. He scored 24 points and added 10 rebounds in the Heat's first meeting with Houston, a 113-110 Heat victory.
