VIDEO: Nets' Mirza Teletovic airballs three shots in 40 seconds
One airball is pretty bad. Two airballs is really bad. Three airballs is extremely bad.
All of them coming in a 40-second span? The worst.
Nets rookie forward Mirza Teletovic has played sporadically through the season and didn't do himself any favors in Brooklyn's 93-90 win over Detroit on Wednesday.
Early in the fourth quarter in a tight game, Teletovic airballed three consecutive shots -- a 3, a mid-range fadeaway, then another 3.
It wasn't Teletovic's only airballs, either. His statline was one, too: 0-for-3, zero points, zero rebounds, zero blocks, zero steals in four minutes played.
After his third airball, P.J. Carlesimo subbed him out for Gerald Wallace, thus ending his miserable night. As Teletovic walked to the bench, you could see a little embarrassed smile crack across his face.
Teletovic, 27, is averaging 3.4 points and 1.4 rebounds in 28 appearances this season.
