Eye on Basketball Podcast: LeBron rules, Dwight drools

By Zach Harper | NBA writer

Back from the weekend, Matt Moore joins me to discuss a great three nights days of NBA basketball. There are so many places to start, but we'd like to start with the dominance of LeBron James. He's on a historic run of five straight 30-point games with 70 percent shooting, and it's getting kind of scary. Is his play so good right now that it's beyond personal scrutiny? Can he do whatever he wants and whenever he wants? Has he become a good 3-point shooter or is he just having an outlier season?

Then we get into everything that is happening with Dwight Howard. Steve Nash might be mad at him and people don't like him saying players are trying to hurt his injured shoulder. If he's playing with the injury, should he shut up about it? Should he be given a little credit for trying to play with such a tough injury? Or have his actions over the past two years left him without any credit to be given? What is the appopriate amount of hatred when dealing with 2013 Dwight Howard?

We also discuss trade rumors, young players with potential, and preview tonight's games.
