Spurs' Tony Parker (triceps) out Sunday against Suns

By Royce Young | NBA writer

Coming off a rare loss Friday, the Spurs will be without their star point guard when they try to bounce back against the Suns on Sunday.

Tony Parker has been ruled out for the game because of a right triceps contusion. Without him, the expectation would be for the Spurs to start Gary Neal in his place, except Neal is listed as questionable because of tightness in his left calf.

If he's unable to go, the Spurs would likely then turn to Patty Mills for minutes.

Parker, 30, has emerged as an MVP candidate for the Spurs, averaging 21.1 points and 7.6 assists in 54 games.
