Pacers' David West hits a three to end the first half

By Zach Harper | NBA writer

Indiana Pacers' power forward/tank David West has a pretty sweet jumper. He's one of the deadliest players on the low block because of his turnaround jumper out of the post and he's one of the best pick-and-pop options in the NBA because he can knock down the mid-range as well as any big man.

But he's not known as a 3-point shooter; he doesn't have that kind of range. In his career, West has made just 39 3-pointers on 153 attempts. Make that 40.

At the end of the first half against the Los Angeles Clippers, Paul George made it through backcourt pressure, passed it ahead to West, who knocked down his fourth 3-pointer of the season.

Perhaps West should move his range back a couple of feet to really ramp up the offers during free agency this summer.
