Suns' Marcin Gortat (foot) out at least 3-4 weeks

By Royce Young | NBA writer

The Phoenix Suns announced Thursday center Marcin Gortat will miss three-to-four weeks because of a sprained right foot suffered Wednesday against the Raptors.

Via the Arizona Republic, Gortat will have the foot put in a cast and actually doubts he'll play again this season.

The Suns only have about six weeks left in their season and without much to play for, withholding Gortat is a safe move. The Suns are 21-40.

Gortat, 29, is averaging 11.1 points and 8.5 rebounds on the season. Without him, the Suns will likely start Hamed Haddadi or go small with Luis Scola at center as veteran Jermaine O'Neal is currently away from the team while his 13-year-old daughter recovers from heart surgery performed in Boston.

On Thursday, O'Neal tweeted that his daughter was doing "well and recovering."
