Eye on Basketball Podcast: J.R. Smith is so fun
Matt Moore joins me to rejoice in the entertaining evening that was J.R. Smith of the New York Knicks in their loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday night. Smith gave basketball fans just about everything they could expect from him. He was unstoppable for long stretches with the basketball and still managed to do the frustrating things (like the step-back jumper to try to win the game) that fans expect to balance out his awesomeness.
We also talk about the Los Angeles Clippers' loss to the Denver Nuggets. How much did the Clippers miss Jamal Crawford? How well did Andre Iguodala defend Chris Paul, especially in the second half? How incredible was Ty Lawson and when he's playing like that, is he the best shooter and the best player on the Nuggets? What are the playoff implications for these two teams moving forward?
There is all of that discussion, plus golf simulators, being under the weather, and a preview for Friday night's games.
