Nuggets' Wilson Chandler (shoulder) to miss 3-4 games

By Royce Young | NBA writer

The Nuggets are rolling, but if they're going to maintain their win streak, they're going to have to do it a bit short-handed.

Coach George Karl said point guard Ty Lawson would sit Thursday's game against the 76ers because of a heel injury and via the Denver Post, Wilson Chandler said he expects to miss the team's next 3-4 games because of a separated left shoulder.

Chandler injured the shoulder against the Thunder on Tuesday while trying to run through a screen.

Denver hosts the struggling 76ers, who have lost their last 12 road games and are on the second night of a back-to-back. With Denver being one of the best road teams in the league (30-3), even down a couple of guys they should be able to extend their streak to 14.

Without Lawson, Andre Miller will likely start. No Chandler, though, means Karl will have to adjust his rotation a bit because he likes Chandler as a 4 in small-ball lineups. So maybe expect a little Danilo Gallinari in that spot.

Chandler, 25, is averaging 11.8 points and 5.0 rebounds in 32 appearances.
