Chris Paul is a human. But that's just off the basketball court. Because on it? He does things regular homosapiens can't do. Like this fake between-the-legs pass in transition.
D.J. Foster of Clipperblog put it very nicely: "Paul had a move against the Jazz on Saturday night that you've probably already seen. Chances are, if you go down to the park tonight, you'll see someone try to pull it off. Here's the thing though — this wasn't a quick flash of brilliance — this was a long con. Paul has been setting this move up for weeks."
What makes it so extraordinary is that Paul did this on the fly in a 1-on-2. It was all completely in rhythm, smooth and easy. It was so good you almost wouldn't notice it if you weren't paying attention.
I love Lob City and all the huge dunks from Blake Griffin, but sometimes, a little basketball subtlety is as pretty as a massive oop.
