LeBron James is living the championship life. He has his ring, and now he gets to go on tour and bask in the light of finally winning it.
And if his appearance Tuesday on "The Late Show with David Letterman" was any indication, he's enjoying the heck out of it.
"I went from being ringless on Wednesday night to having a ring on Thursday night, so it changed that," LeBron said.
Bearing in mind that the Late Show is filmed in New York, LeBron entered to a standing ovation. Which might be some glimpse into how perceptions of LeBron have changed. New Yorkers were jilted over LeBron picking Miami over the Knicks, but seem to appreciate the fact his journey resulted in a title.
Letterman kicked things off by talking about Cleveland and asked a pretty pointed question: Would you be enjoying this more with the Cavs?
"The feeling that I had on Thursday, I could've been on Mars and won that championship," LeBron said. "It felt amazing."
So that settles that.
