Report: Gerald Green to sign with Pacers

By Royce Young | NBA writer

If you're looking for high-flying dunkers, the Indiana Pacers might've just become your favorite team.

Already with Paul George, the Pacers are closing in on a deal for Gerald Green, according to the New York Post. The Indy Star reports the Pacers will offer Green three years, $10 million.

Green, 26, had quite the comeback last season for the Nets, averaging a career-high 12.4 points per game in 31 appearances.

Oh, and he had this dunk, which I make a point to watch at least once a day.

Green was drafted 18th overall by the Celtics in 2005 but saw his career fade as he made multiple trips to the D-League. After stops in Houston, Minnesota and Dallas, Green found some time playing for the Nets.

It seemed he had performed well enough to grab another contract with the team, but with the Nets making so many offseason moves to fill their roster, matching a $10 million offer doesn't seem likely.

The Pacers are looking for more scoring weapons and athleticism on the wing to go with George and Danny Granger.
