Video: Derrick Rose sends out a message to fans via YouTube

By Royce Young | NBA writer

We haven't heard or really, seen, Derrick Rose since he went down with that awful knee injury in the opening round of the NBA playoffs. It ended his season, took him out of the Olympics and will force him to miss at least the beginning of the season.

Well, he's back. Sort of. On YouTube.

Rose assures fans he's recovering, working hard and trying his best to get back as soon, and as healthy, as possible.

"Hopefully y'all see me back out there," Rose said. "My biggest concern is, don't worry about me. I know that I'm going to be all right. I know that I'm healthy, I know that I'm positive. I believe in God. So, I should be back on the court soon. So I hope that you support not only me, but the Bulls. Peace out."
