Heat's Dwyane Wade out Friday night with a cold

By Matt Moore | NBA writer

The Palm Beach Post reports from pregame that Dwyane Wade will not play Friday night against Atlanta because of what coach Erik Spoelstra said was a cold. Wade is averaging 20 points and five assists on 57 percent shooting through five games.

Without Wade, the Heat will go with Ray Allen, making for an all-together insane lineup of Mario Chalmers, Allen, Shane Battier, LeBron James and Chris Bosh to start against the surprising Hawks.

Several NBA players have been sick with flu or food poisoning this week, including members of the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers.
