Video: Byron Mullens flies over LaMarcus Aldridge

By Royce Young | NBA writer

I feel like this was Byron Mullens' way of announcing to everybody, "Don't call me B.J. anymore!"

Monday against Portland, the 7-1 big man caught the ball around the 3-point line, took one dribble and then use his giant frame to extend over LaMarcus Aldridge for one impressive dunk.

The most surprising thing about it? That Mullens didn't take the 3. Already this season, the big man has attempted 78. I guess the dunk only counted for two points rather than three, but I feel like for Mullens, it counts for a whole lot more than that.
