Adelman may be out Tuesday as Wolves host Hawks

By Zach Harper | NBA writer

Minnesota Timberwolves coach Rick Adelman is away from the team for personal reasons and will miss Tuesday night's home game against the Atlanta Hawksvia CBSSports.com's Zach Harper.

Adelman was absent from Monday's practice and Tuesday morning's shootaround due to this personal matter. Terry Porter will take over head coaching duties.

During a late December game against the Milwaukee Bucks in 2011, Adelman was absent from the team and Porter filled in for him.

The Wolves will be without Kevin Love, who broke his hand on Thursday night against the Denver Nuggets. Love is flying to New York to get a prognosis on his hand and how much time that he could miss. Nikola Pekovic and Ricky Rubio (both questionable) are both expected to play.
