Video: Marc Gasol's game-winning block on Nick Young

By Matt Moore | NBA writer

Marc Gasol's a pretty good Defensive Player of the Year candidate. And he's also probably the best all-around center in basketball this year, considering Dwight Howard's issues. On Monday vs. the Sixers, he finished with 27 points. 7 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks. Oh, and that last block was kind of important.

So much awesome. Clean block, fist-pump, expletive, walk-off block for the win. The Grizzlies went down by 17 in the first quarter before gutting this one out, and with Mike Conley out with an ankle injury and Zach Randolph struggling, they needed someone to step up. Gasol stepped up, and over, the Sixers for a big road win.
