VIDEO: Brooklyn Nets' Joe Johnson breaks down Chris Bosh

By Zach Harper | NBA writer

This is Joe Johnson of the Brooklyn Nets doing what Joe Johnson of the Brooklyn Nets does: he's making a defender look silly.

Even though Johnson has a famously bloated contract, he's still a really talented player who helps his team almost every night. He also does a nice job of helping the highlight reels remain populated. Remember when he made Paul Pierce do yoga?

Well, the one above wasn't quite as dramatic as what he did to the Celtics, but he still managed to stop his momentum with the pullback dribble and leave Chris Bosh of the Miami Heat chasing a ghost.

For another cool look at it, check out the NBA's Phantom video:

We found out that Chris Bosh does not read Eye on Basketball. If he did, he would have seen this defensive tip from Andre Iguodala via Matt Moore:

"I learned one move from Joe Johnson which is pretty funny," he says. "Sometimes when they're driving or want to get open and they're pushing off on me, they push off a lot, and they get away with it. So when they push off, I just lean back, but I grab their hand with me, so as they're pushing me, I grab them so they gotta come with me. When they're trying to come off and I'm holding that, that gives me a second to recover. That's them shooting the ball or catching and shooting the ball, right there is one second. So I'm back in front just by doing that."

How many times do we have to talk about this, Chris? If you want to be a better defender, you have to read this blog religiously. That's just a free pro tip for you.
