Eye on Basketball Podcast: Talking NBA Draft

By Zach Harper | NBA writer

We're nearly a full week into February, and that means two things: 1) you probably still haven't made Valentine's Day plans with your significant other and 2) March Madness is right around the corner. With the NCAA season getting serious, it's time to start looking at prospects for the 2013 NBA Draft, and nobody is better to talk to about prospects than Jeff Goodman of CBSSports.com.

Jeff and I discuss who the options are for the No. 1 pick in June. Is Nerlens Noel going to be the guy or is Cody Zeller the safest pick? Is it possible for someone like Ben McLemore to play his way into the top pick? And why hasn't Shabazz Muhammad been able to keep up his preseason hype?

We also try to figure out a position at the next level for Anthony Bennett and Alex Poythress, see if Myck Kabongo and Le'Bryan Nash can relive their high school days, and explain why Isaiah Austin and Alex Len might be worth the risk in the lottery.
