We used to freak out over pretty much any finish at the rim for Blake Griffin. Now that we're a bit more used to it, those powerful hammer slams are a bit more ho-hum to us for some reason. But still, this second-quarter dunk Sunday in the Clippers' win over New York was pretty spectacular.
Just because no one was dumb enough to try to get in the way and challenge it doesn't make it any less awesome.
What's breathtaking about Griffin's dunking is the sheer explosiveness he possesses. He gets off the floor so fast. A catch, a big step, and liftoff.
Never tell yourself you're tired of seeing this, just because you've seen it a hundred times before. It's still incredible.
