Eye on Basketball Podcast: Change your face, be happy

By Zach Harper | NBA writer

Matt Moore joins me before the weekend to discuss Thursday night's basketball and the Ricky Rubio spotlight. We briefly discuss Matt's awesome post on Milwaukee Bucks big man Larry Sanders and defense before delving into the lone bright spot for the Minnesota Timberwolves that is Ricky Rubio. Does Ricky have much to work with in Minnesota because of the injuries to the team? And how bad was the Wolves' 3-point effort against the Los Angeles Lakers' incredible 3-point effort?

We also talk about how the Indiana Pacers struggled to play the interior against the Los Angeles Clippers despite getting a good effort from David West and Paul George. Was it simply a matter of Roy Hibbert not being there to rebound the ball and protect the rim? And why are the Philadelphia 76ers so unwatchable? Is it Doug Collins' strategy? Is it a lack of talent? Is it that Joakim Noah is just too much energy and awesomeness when he goes for 23-21-11?

We discuss all of that, plus Rubio's advice to change your face, what movie that Matt should see in his free time and preview Friday night's games.
