We all had a good laugh at Milwaukee Bucks guard Monta Ellis back in January, when he compared to himself to Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat and said the famous words, "Monta Ellis have it all." There's no doubt that Ellis is a talented scorer, but he has always seemed to lack the team concept when it comes to the way that he plays on both ends of the floor.
However, when he goes nova against a team like he did in the fourth quarter against the Orlando Magic on Sunday, Ellis does in fact have it all.
Ellis scored 25 of his season-high 39 points in the final period by making eight of 10 shots from the floor, including 5-for-5 from 3-point range. Brandon Jennings assisted on five of Ellis' eight buckets in the quarter. Ellis helped erase an 11-point deficit heading into the fourth by nearly matching the Magic's fourth-quarter scoring total (28) all by himself.
Monta Ellis have it all.
